I am having a problem with the motion trail plug-in in Eye Candy 4000. I keep getting a ‘cannot complete due to not enough memory’. I’m running dual 3.4GHz processors with 2GB of ram. I have my scratch disk set to a drive that hase 65GB of free space and have my cache level set at 4 and my memory usage set at 85% (1507GB). Supplies: EyeCandy 4000 Dosdude catalina patcher.

Stepping-Stones-Through-PSPhave permission from the owner toupload EC4000 for use in this Group.

Closeyour PSP.

Step1:

Download the Supplies - the Eye Candy 4000 program.
Unzip.

Step 2:

Move the EyeCandy4000 folder to your Plugins folder.
Go to theEC4000 folder and open your folder.
This should be the contents.

The notepaddocument will contain the Serial Number needed to begin your program once youhave installed it.
Write this number down.
You will need it whileinstalling the Plugin.

Step3:

Now let'sget started and setup your program to your desired folder.

DoubleClick on the Setup Icon.
It will begin the Process

This windowwill appear - click on Next

You willneed to accept the README terms.
Click Next

Step 4:

-this is where you will register with the serial number you found inside yournotepad document.

Use yourfirst name and add the codes for the serial number on 3rd line.

Youwill now be asked where you want your EyeCandy to be installed.
It willautomatically choose your PSP program

Follow thepath from your C drive to your Plugin folder as seen in the next set of images.

Click onDocuments and Settings as shown below.

Scroll downto Documents and Settings

DoubleClick and bring up the next set of files as shown below.

Time toDouble click on Owner (or where you have your folder readyfor the installation ;-)

Doubleclick on Documents and scroll to the folder you want your Plugin to be in.

Step5:

ClickOK.
The program will begin to install itself into the folder your createdfor your plugins for PSP.
Click on FINISH.

NOTE: On some occasions you may be asked to go online.
It is best to have yourserial number ready.
It is not necessary to go to the website should youchoose not to.
Your program is now ready to use in your PSP programs.

If it doesnot - then go to File>Preference>File Location and be sure you haveyour Plugin path directed to the correct folder.
One path should goto your C:/Programs folder
(ifyou install your programs to another drive, then use that one)
and the other to Documents>My PSP Files>Plugins.
Do not haveumpteen paths because this will slow your PSP down so much.
