Onenote Align Text To Grid View

Hi there. I just started using OneNote (great program by the way, very
valuable when it comes to taking notes for lecutres, etc.) My favorite
feature is being able to turn on the grid lines, and have them appear as if
you are typing on college ruled paper. My question, however, is how would I
go about setting up the program so that when I type over the college ruled
background, the text acutally aligns to the background. Presently, when I
type, the text doesn't always line up to the college ruled background, and
even if I manually set up the first line to align with the lined background,
the next line usually types on the rule lines, rather than going down to the
next line. Here's an example in case my post isn't making any sense: Thanks
in advance to everyone!
